Writers require both solitude and intelligent conviviality. Along this journey, writers often prefer to walk and talk with good company, learn from one another, challenge themselves, and be challenged.

CENTER TO PAGE workshops, retreats, and courses focus on PROCESS and CRAFT.

Writing experiences in serene settings enhance participants' perceptions and deepen their process.  Seminars explore the soul of craft--the existential impulse to hone  voice, structure, narration, characterization, and more.

In addition to seminar discussions, a careful study of recognized writers’ works, and writing exercises, we also address core challenges such as facing our inner heckler, extending compassion to difficult characters, and delving into truth.

Whether an aspiring or seasoned writer, you can gain confidence in your own process and acumen.  Retreats in Taos and Woodstock offer our muses both unstructured and structured time to write, wander, and wonder.

Designated YOGA AS MUSE workshops help you integrate our body, breath, and principles from yoga into a dynamic, effective writing process. You learn how simple sequences and breath work slow down your brain waves to help you concentrate and imagine.  Core principles such as vismayo (Sanskrit for a state of being open to surprise & wonder) grant you a fresh way to approach your writing life and process.

In every workshop, we establish a productive atmosphere based upon safety, trust, and truthfulness.

Visit the WORKSHOPS & RETREATS schedule to join us and the COACHING & EDITING pages to learn about individual services.
